Text - Booner999 1.1k points · 27 days ago My cat does this too. One day, He took my dish sponge from the sink, dunked it in his water, then placed it in my bag for work. When I got to work, all of my papers were soaked through and it scared the heck out of me when I stuck my hand in my bag and hit something wet! He also stole my credit card out of my purse once. Text - Rhea_of_the_Coos 106 points · 27 days ago My cat stole my keys once. Hid them in a large box filled with smaller boxes to be recycled. I happened to go through and break down the boxes and found a pizza box at the very bottom that seemed much heavier than it should be. Surprise! I hadn't even realized my keys were missing yet. Little stinker.

Text - StrongStyleMuscle 79 points 27 days ago One time my cats unhooked the Wifi. They kept going to the area where the wifi box was the night before & me & my girlfriend kept telling them to get away. The next day came home from work no internet was working. This dude unattached some of the plug in cords to the box. Don't know how but they did. Elznix 27 points · 27 days ago My cat is also a tech wizard. He walks over my keyboard and somehow shows the code behind the program. I think it is a v

Text - vidanyabella 381 points · 27 days ago · edited 27 days ago We have one that does the same thing. Sometimes she dunks them and then puts them in the dry food bowl, lol. We've even caught her before playing a game with hair ties on the side if the water bowl. She puts a hair tie near the edge, sticks her paw through it to pin it there, and then pulls it back with her mouth and "shoots" it towards the water. Then she tries to stop it before it goes in. She will do it over and over until she

What a little twerp. missmadimissmadi 160 points · 27 days ago The best part: it is not my eyelash. it must have been from the previous tenant. I vacuum regularly. She went through deep space exploration to find it. redribbit17 51 points · 27 days ago · edited 27 days ago The void went into the void to find it for you. What a treasure

Text - Zenlura 131 points 27 days ago Just a guess, but a cat's water intake in the wild is primarily provided by their prey. So, dry "prey" as such items need to be properly hydrated, despite the cat having no intention of eating those Q- tips. Again, it's just a guess, but seems like an instinct thing, or a subtle request for (more) wetfood Dutch-CatLady 46 points 27 days ago Easy way out is to add some water to their dry food 16 points · 27 days ago + She gets wet food. Text - coripat 54 points · 27 days ago In the wild water is like home base and cats will bring their prey to home base to eat it safely. That's likely why. My boyfriend's cat does this. The first instance was with a squeaky mouse toy and she would then carry it to places like his routine. Once she left it in the water overnight and we awoke to a constant squeaking sound. After that she lost unsupervised playtime with the replacement. She still does it occasionally with other toys.

Text - evebella 13 points · 27 days ago She's telling you to change the water i_have_a_dragon- 6 points · 27 days ago + Yep, my cats all do this if I forgot to change their water. Toys, bits of dry food, hair ties. Now we have two fountains and they dont do it anymore. overitdub 4 points · 27 days ago Yes. My old calico does it when she wants new water. Once we started just routinely changing the water at least daily, she stopped. The younger cats that came later have never felt the need.
